Handling of customer information

Confirming the order requires customer registration. For registration, the customer has to provide his or her name, address, email and phone number.

POPbuddies customer register is confidential and does not share customer information with any third parties.

From time to time we may send out email messages alerting you that products are available, to remind you about providing feedback or for promotional offers. In addition, you will receive communication from us 1) if you contact us for a particular reason, 2) to receive your orders. Administrative e-mails will not contain promotional materials. If you choose to receive our News Letters, they will contain promotional materials from POPbuddies. By registering customer grants to POPbuddies a right to use his or her information for direct marketing by other means than email (e.g. regular mail).

POPbuddies is not responsible for customer information leaks to third parties that happened as a result of a security breach that POPbuddies could not prevent. Customer is responsible for taking care of his or her own user-id and password and should change the password if there's a suspicion that it might have been acquired by a third party.

This Web site contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you may be leaving the site and entering another Web site. These sites may independently collect or request information about you and we encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites as their privacy policy may differ from ours.

3 Purpose of use
Register is used to handle customer relations between Omoi Oy and its customer. Register information is not used for direct marketing without customer's consent.

* Ordered goods
* Order date
* Order payment method
* Reference number
* Order history
* Email messages sent to the customer from POPbuddies pages (message content and header)
* Internet-server technical logs (including customer's IP-address and browser information)

5 Information sources
Only provided by the customer him/herself.

6 Information for shipping.
When you place an order, you give us consent to disclose your name, address, phone number and email to the shipping company who will deliver your order. This information is used to deliver and also to contact you to notify you of the delivery progress. These details are stored on the shipping company's software. If you wish for this information to be deleted, you can email us at customerservice(@)pop buddies.com.

7 Register protection principles
Data is stored in MySQL-database, which is located on Hostingpalvelu Hosting servers. Database data can be modified and accessed only using a username and password combination and only the database administrator can do it.

8 Information access rights
According to Personal Data Act §26 a person has a right to check his or her information stored in the database. If you want to see your data or you want us to delete your information, please send a request to customerservice(@)popbuddies.com.
